A Few Words From George

“Welcome to my corner of the shooting world!
I’ve spent over 60 years with firearms in my hands—from my time in the Navy and Army during the Vietnam era to managing military ranges for officers and enlisted personnel. Even with all that time behind the trigger, I’ll let you in on a secret: I still show up every day with the heart of a student, always looking to learn something new.
My journey has taken me through some incredible chapters. I’m proud to serve as a Certified Instructor with the NRA and the USCCA, covering everything from Basic Pistol to Countering Mass Shooter Threats. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a Chief Range Safety Officer and a ‘Shoot Boss’ with Project Appleseed. Over the years, I’ve trained thousands of people—from special operators and law enforcement to families and young children.
But here is what I’ve learned: whether I’m training a tactical professional or a grandmother picking up a tool for self-defense, the goal is always the same. I want to give you the straight, honest truth in a way that empowers you.
I’m known for being blunt, but it comes from a place of deep respect for you and the responsibility of gun ownership. There’s no ‘political correctness’ here—just clear, high-quality information delivered with a positive spirit. I don’t believe in hand-holding; I believe in hand-strengthening. I want to build your comfort and confidence until you’re standing tall on the line.
I still compete against the person I see in the mirror every morning, and that drive to improve is exactly what I want to share with you. My mission is to help you uphold the values and skills that define us as citizens of this great nation.
