“It is always Time for Situational Awareness, But, Today More Than Yesterday”

By George E. Emanuel

No, I have not lost my mind, nor am I awareness confused. You need to look at “Situational Awareness” a bit differently than you did last Friday.

I case you don’t have a news source in your cave the United States has finally after 47 long years taken out the government of the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.

Since 1979 the US has been playing stupid games with a Den of Theocratic Lunatics and Psychopaths. How many chest thumping Presidents kicked the can down the road until we have come to the end of it?

“The price of freedom is eternal vigilance” (often “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty”) is a famous, frequently misattributed quote emphasizing that maintaining freedom requires constant, active attention and effort. While commonly linked to Thomas Jefferson, it is rooted in a 1790 speech by Irish politician John Philpot Curran.

This a piece of wisdom for the ages, forever timely, and should never be out of fashion.

As the Government, (not the people) of Iran has seen fit to run roughshod and inexplicably cruel and of the darkest nature perhaps ever known by man over it’s citizens, and at every turn, in every human pursuit forced them, unwillingly to bend their knee at the feet of the government.

This is unknown to the people of the United States, and shall remain so as long as “We the People” stand by it, now, and forever.

Victory over evil is never achieved, but it can be maintained. We must discover the intestinal fortitude to do exactly that in these difficult days.

We must look at the things which divide us, and ask, “In what other Society, where is the Country where I can act out my own vision if not here”

If you want that freedom then wake up, put down the insults, the slanders and the hurt feelings and start being responsible for that very small zone under your immediate control.

Many of us have lived through the events of September 11, 2001. It was a terrible time, but it brought us together after the death of some 3,000 of our husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, friends, neighbors, and many of our political opponents.

Just as we did then, we need to put our heads on a swivel, put down the cell phone and pay attention to what is happening within our current view.

A guy with a long trench coat is unlikely be on the beach for a tan, or a swim. The dark shadow which is out of place is likely not there to present you with a check from Publishers Clearing House. The group of Hoodies which just crossed to your side of the street without any obvious explanation need to be observed until they demonstrate they are not a threat.

Someone goes into a restaurant of diner of fast-food joint with a backpack but comes out without it is certainly a red flag, or at least should be.

If it doesn’t look right, report it. Let people with the required training deal with the potential it possesses. You get yourself and loved ones out of there and to safety.

Would you rather have a false alarm or, no alarm?

Some very dangerous people came into our Country in 2020 – 2024, and we don not know where many of them are today. But you can bet the ranch that some of them will try to harm us.

Who is going to stop them? The same people who finally, having had enough, said no to Tehran. Unfortunately, it had to be done in he only way in which that government could be dealt with successfully.

Brood about the circumstance s all we might, but tomorrow is squarely in our court to protect.

“The Price of Liberty IS Eternal Vigilence.”
