“Two Times Three” is an excellent introduction to confronting multiple threats. Bad guys often run in packs, and we may need to address several quickly. This will help get you ready to do so.
This particular drill can have as many variations as you can concoct. However, this is the basic drill.
You will need three targets with a hit area of 8” diameter. (Can you say paper plates?)
You will have three mags with two rounds per mag.
At the signal (a shot timer is great for this), you will draw and fire two shots at target number 1
Reload immediately on the slide lock and fire two shots at target number 2
Reload immediately on the slide lock and fire two shots on target number 3.
Your goal is to get six hits in six seconds or less.
Start close and work your way back to 10 or 15 yards. Feel free to change your shooting position from left, right, center, etc. (be aware of backstops and angles when doing so)
This is more fun with a training partner.
